The Corner of 8th & Insanity

Dude, the wound was never the problem..You have spent enough of this lifetime asking what is wrong with you. You have searched through books, philosophies, markets, psychology, astrology, and spirituality hoping that one more insight would finally reveal the missing piece. You believed healing was about fixing what had been broken. But from where I stand, I need you to see something different. There has never been anything wrong with you. There has only been a version of you that forgot who he was. The wound was never the problem. Forgetting yourself was.

Before you were born, you did not choose an easy life. You chose an honest one. Every experience, every disappointment, every betrayal, every triumph, every season of uncertainty was carefully placed before you, not to punish you, but to awaken you. Your soul never came here to avoid suffering. It came here to transform it into wisdom. The pain was never the destination. It was simply the language life would use until you were finally willing to listen.

Your natal Chiron in Gemini has always been the compass pointing toward your deepest lesson. It was never about becoming a better communicator. It was about trusting your own knowing. From the beginning, life presented you with moments that made you question your perception. Moments where your truth was challenged, your voice misunderstood, or your intuition dismissed. Over time, you learned to seek certainty outside yourself. You searched for teachers, systems, philosophies, and experts, believing someone else must surely possess the answers you were missing. But brother, the lesson was never to find a better voice. It was to stop abandoning your own every time the world failed to understand it.

The Chiron retrograde unfolding now is not creating a new wound. It is illuminating the old agreement you unconsciously made with yourself. The agreement that said you needed permission before you could trust your instincts. That agreement has quietly shaped far more of your life than you realize. It has influenced your relationships, your trading, your business, and even your spiritual path. Every time you hesitated because you wanted one more confirmation, one more sign, one more opinion, you were unknowingly handing your authority away. Not because you lacked wisdom, but because you forgot where wisdom actually lives.

Your Cancer Sun has always known the answer. It gave you a heart capable of perceiving what others overlook. You have always felt beneath the surface of things. You can read the room before anyone speaks. You can sense shifts in people long before they recognize them in themselves. You can feel the changing character of a market before the headlines explain it. Yet for much of your life, you mistook this sensitivity for vulnerability. You believed your gift was something to protect instead of something to trust. You carried the emotional weight of others because somewhere deep inside, you believed love had to be earned through responsibility. But your heart was never designed to carry the world. It was designed to illuminate it.

Then there is your Aries Moon, the fire that has never allowed you to settle. You have mistaken that fire for impatience, but it has always been your soul remembering its purpose. Every time your life felt too small, every time you outgrew another chapter, every time you found yourself restless despite outward success, it was not dissatisfaction. It was truth calling you forward. Your frustration has never come from wanting more. It has come from knowing, deep within yourself, that you were capable of more than the identity you had been living. You were never meant to wait for certainty. You were meant to discover that certainty is created through courageous action.

Your Sagittarius Rising has quietly guided the entire journey. Others see adventure when they look at this placement, but its greatest gift has never been exploration of the world. It has been exploration of truth. You were never meant to become someone who simply accumulates knowledge. You came here to embody it. There is a profound difference between information and wisdom. Information changes your mind. Wisdom changes your being. Every market cycle, every failed trade, every relationship, every mountain climbed, every meditation, every conversation, every moment of doubt has been refining something much deeper than your intellect. It has been shaping your perspective. That perspective is your greatest asset. It is the one thing no one can teach you because it had to be earned.

This is why the current Chiron retrograde matters. It is not asking you to relive your past. It is asking you to release the identities your past convinced you to wear. The man who believed he needed to prove himself. The man who feared being misunderstood. The man who carried everyone else's burdens while quietly neglecting his own. The man who believed his value depended on his performance. Honor him. He carried you exactly where he was meant to. But do not confuse gratitude with obligation. You do not owe your future to a version of yourself that was built for survival.

There is something you have taught thousands of traders over the years, yet now it is time to embody it more deeply yourself. We never trade the market. We trade the trader. The market has always been a mirror. It reflects our beliefs about uncertainty, scarcity, abundance, patience, fear, confidence, and trust. Life has been doing the very same thing. Every relationship has reflected the relationship you have with yourself. Every opportunity has reflected the size of your self belief. Every challenge has reflected the places where your nervous system still mistakes growth for danger. None of it has been happening to you. It has all been happening for your remembrance.

Nicholas, time has never been your enemy. You have spent years helping others alter their relationship with time, yet now I ask you to see it through a different lens. Nothing has ever arrived late. Nothing has ever been taken from you. Every delay refined your character. Every setback deepened your wisdom. Every unanswered prayer redirected your path toward something greater than your personality could imagine. Your soul has never measured progress by the speed of your achievements. It has always measured it by the depth of your awareness.

So stop asking whether you are enough. That question belongs to the man who believed his worth could be measured by performance, approval, or accomplishment. That man has completed his work. The question before you now is far more powerful.

What becomes possible when you trust yourself as deeply as you trust the intelligence that created you?

Sit with that question, dude. Let it become the foundation beneath every decision you make from this day forward.

Your Cancer Sun gave you the heart to feel what others cannot. Your Aries Moon gave you the courage to act before certainty arrives. Your Sagittarius Rising gave you the vision to seek truth beyond appearances. And your Chiron in Gemini gave you the one wound that could never be healed by another person, because it was always meant to awaken your own voice.

That was never a punishment.

It was always the path.

And from where I stand, I can tell you something the wounded version of you could never believe.

You are not becoming the man you were meant to be.

You are remembering the man you have always been.

PS I love you, more than you can imagine.

The Great Unveiling

Most of us spend our entire lives trying to improve the character we believe ourselves to be. We chase more money, more recognition, more certainty, more love, more control. We attempt to repair our circumstances, strengthen our identity, and construct a life solid enough to finally feel safe inside. But what if the deepest work is not building a better identity? What if it is seeing through the illusions upon which that identity was built?

We arrive here and slowly forget what we are. We are given a name, a history, a role, a set of expectations, and a collection of wounds. Over time, we begin mistaking those things for the Self. We become convinced that we are separate, limited, running out of time, fighting for scarce resources, and somehow required to prove that we deserve to exist. The prison becomes so familiar that we stop recognizing it as a prison. We simply call it reality. Yet beneath the stories of the mind, something deeper remains untouched. An awareness that was present before the fear. Before the shame. Before the need to control every outcome. Before the world taught us that our value had to be earned through performance. The purpose of this series of essays is not to give us another belief system. It is to help us question the beliefs already governing our lives.

Fear
Control
Scarcity
Unworthiness
Separation
Time
Death

These are not merely philosophical ideas. They are living patterns. They influence the way we trade, love, work, compete, protect ourselves, and interpret uncertainty. They shape our nervous systems, our relationships, our decisions, and the futures we unconsciously create. And these veils are not removed once. Every new level of awareness reveals a subtler version of the same illusion. Fear may return disguised as preparation. Control may call itself discipline. Scarcity may hide inside ambition. Unworthiness may masquerade as humility. The work is not to destroy these parts of ourselves. The work is to see them clearly enough that they can no longer control us from the shadows. We did not come here to spend our lives trapped inside the mind’s interpretation of reality. We came here to look directly at the veil. To understand why it formed. To recognize how it has protected us. And eventually, to see through it. Because the moment an illusion is seen completely, it begins losing its authority. This series is an invitation. Not to become someone new, but to remember who we were before fear convinced us we had become someone else.

The journey toward truth does not begin by learning something new. It begins the moment we become willing to question everything we think we already know.

LIVE FEARLESS, NOT RECKLESS.
